First-Generation Student Career Exploration Program
This cohort is designed to prepare first year, first-generation undergraduate students who are eager to build foundational career skills, and grow their professional confidence to explore career opportunities across various industries and job functions.
First-Generation Professional Development Mentoring Program: Group I and II
This award-winning professional development and mentorship program allows undergraduate first-generation students the opportunity to work on advancing their career goals. The cohorts are organized by academic year; Group I: is designed specifically for second or third-year, first-generation college students who are ready to take proactive steps toward exploring career paths and securing meaningful internships. Group II: is designed specifically for fourth-year, first-generation college students who are eager to develop their job searching and networking skills in order to make a successful transition from college to career. Student participants are assigned mentors, who are selected based on their career path, industry affiliation, and personal interests.
