Kate Rockey-Harris
Senior Director, Career Education & Coaching
Kate leads NYU Wasserman’s Undergraduate and Graduate Career Education and Coaching Teams. She is focused on ensuring students, recent alumni, and postdocs are empowered with the tools, coaching, and opportunities necessary for successful careers. Kate began her career as an IT recruiter for investment banks before moving into higher education, where she has worked in student affairs, academic advisement, career development, and employer relations. Kate holds an EdD and EdM in Adult Learning & Leadership from Columbia’s Teachers College. Additionally, she earned a MA in Higher & Postsecondary Education from Columbia University, a MS in Human Resource Management & Development from NYU, and a BS in Design & Environmental Analysis from Cornell University. Kate enjoys chasing after her four children in New Jersey and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Victoria DiMonica
Sr. Associate Director, Undergraduate Career Development
Victoria DiMonica is the Sr. Associate Director of Undergraduate Career Development, at the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development. In this role she oversees career coaching, career education programming, resources, and campus partnerships for undergraduate students.
Kelly Graham
Sr. Associate Director, Graduate Career Development
Kelly joined the Wasserman Center in February of 2018. Prior to joining the Wasserman team, Kelly oversaw career and academic advising programs at colleges in Boston, Virginia and New Hampshire. She earned a MS in Career Development from the College of New Rochelle and a BA in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire. In addition to overseeing coaching and campus partnerships for NYU’s graduate student students, she supports the Wasserman Center’s Global Career Hub and oversees international student career programming.
Danielle Cristal
Associate Director, Graduate Career Development
Danielle Cristal (she/her) is an Associate Director on the Graduate Student Career Development meeting the career needs of master’s, doctoral, and advanced certificate students, as well as current postdocs across 12 schools. She oversees employer engagement, career education programming, and industry-specific career fairs focusing on graduate students’ career development. Danielle holds a master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from New York University and earned bachelor’s degrees in English and Public Relations from Drake University.
Marlene Brito
Gregory Weight
Director of External Partnerships and Experiential Learning
Dr. Weight leads the NYU Wasserman External Partnerships and Experiential Learning team to cultivate relationships with external partners and provide opportunities for NYU students to prepare them for the next steps in their careers. He learned the importance of experiential learning and connecting students, faculty, and external partners from his experience in academia as an Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs at Ursinus College and the nonprofit world as President of the Washington Internship Institute. He has a BA and PhD in English from Pomona College and the University of Delaware, respectively. Greg loves food, coffee, and books, and is always looking for recommendations.
Sarah Rosenthal
Director, Experiential Learning Programs and Student Employment
Sarah Rosenthal (she/her) joined the Wasserman Center in 2015. She oversees experiential learning programs that support student career exploration and skill development. Sarah holds a master’s degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Media and Communications from Muhlenberg College. Participated in Belonging Zone, Disability Zone, Diversity Zone, Dream Zone, Faith Zone, and Safe Zone.
Shinta Shintawati
Liz Delessert
Liz manages the Wasserman Center’s annual Life Beyond the Square survey and supports other Wasserman data and assessment initiatives. Liz has a BS in Psychology from Union College and an MS in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Albany. In her free time, Liz enjoys reading (outside in a park in nice weather!), fire escape gardening, baking, and spending time with friends and family. Participated in Safe Zone, Justice Zone, Dream Zone, Conversation Zone and Belonging Zone.
Cheryl Mazlen
Senior Assistant Director, Undergraduate Career Development
Cheryl primarily coaches undergraduate students currently, although she has experience coaching graduate students and alumni as well. She is the liaison to Nursing, Pre-Health, Public Health and pre-law programs. Cheryl also supervises the Graduate Career Assistants. Her previous work experience includes working in the fashion and legal industries. Cheryl has a BA in Psychology and Business from SUNY Albany and an MS Ed. in Counseling from CUNY Hunter College. In her free time, Cheryl enjoys yoga, biking, long walks, travel, the beach and spending time with her family. Participated in Mindfulness Zone, Safe Zone, and Microaggressions Training.
Izzy Wowk
Assistant Director, Undergraduate Career Development
A proud Manhattanite, avid home cook, and future dog parent, Izzy fosters current undergraduate students’ professional development through career coaching, event/workshop facilitation, and relationship-building opportunities. She also co-manages the Wasserman Career Ambassadors program and is always about collaborations with folks across NYU designed to support students’ holistic growth. Izzy obtained a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Delaware and an MA in Higher Education & Student Affairs from NYU.
Jason Walls
Assistant Director, Undergraduate Career Development
Jason (he/him) spends his time at Wasserman providing personalized career coaching for students and alumni and developing events and programs to empower students in their career journeys. He discovered his passion for career advising through his MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs program at the University of Iowa. Before enrolling in that program, he worked as a college counselor and English language arts teacher, and he also taught English as a second language abroad for many years. In his free time, he enjoys relaxing in cafes, studying Chinese, and exploring the city.
Jill LaRussa
Assistant Director, Undergraduate Career Development
At Wasserman, Jill offers coaching to undergraduate students and develops events and programs for students seeking support and guidance along their career journeys. After receiving both her BS in English and MFA in Creative Writing from Stony Brook University, Jill worked in the undergraduate classroom as an adjunct professor while developing her creative work and supporting an urgent care within her community. Finding they thrived working one-on-one and building trust with college students, they pivoted to career advising at Colgate University where they focused on areas of arts, creativity, and media. Upon relocating to Queens, Jill loves to frolic in the park with her dog, thrift, and hunt down the best gluten and dairy free pastries. She is also a mixed media artist, writer, and soup aficionado.
Nia Beresford
Manager, Undergraduate Career Development
Nia provides career coaching to undergrad students and recent alumni, leads various events, oversees campus partnership requests and manages graduate student peer career coaches. Her previous experience is in volunteer management & community engagement, and college access & readiness in roles at non-profits, the NYC Mayor’s Office, NYU Steinhardt and the NYC Department of Education. Nia has a BA in Communication Arts from St. Francis College and a MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs from NYU. When she’s not working Nia loves to cook/bake, go to restaurants, watch movies, and travel.
Tyler Rock
Assistant Director, Undergraduate Career Development
Tyler’s role at Wasserman includes supporting students through coaching, overseeing undergraduate newsletter communications, and programming/workshop development. His previous experience in Residence Life and Campus Activities has equipped him with a passion for problem-solving, relationship building, and DEI work. Tyler has a MS in Counseling with a concentration in College Student Personnel from Shippensburg University, and a Dual-BA in Human Communication Studies & Public Relations from Shippensburg University. In his free time, he enjoys taking part in theater, and exploring New York City.
Cullen Stubbs
Manager, Graduate Career Development
Cullen advises students on their career development through coaching appointments, workshops, events, and panels. He also frequently communicates with campus partners on career development initiatives. His prior experience includes advising for study abroad programs across multiple regions and contexts, and he has experience working abroad. Cullen earned his BA in International Relations and History from Syracuse University. In his free time, he loves to explore the many unique neighborhoods of New York City.
Elle Lee
Assistant Director, Graduate Career Development
Elle (she/her) spends her time career coaching graduate students, facilitating workshops, and supporting diversity initiatives across the Wasserman Center. Her previous work experiences as a peer career advisor at her alma mater Rutgers University, and her role supporting career education programming at the Office of Career Services at NYU School of Law, ignited her passion to guide students through their college and professional careers. Elle earned her MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs from NYU. She enjoys spending her free time playing with her 2 cats, reading books, and traveling.
Gabby Sanes
Senior Assistant Director, Graduate Career Development
Gabby handles the planning and logistics of the Grad Team’s programming, managing event tracking, support, and data reconciliation. A proud first-generation student, Gabby is passionate about advancing equity and access in her daily work. Before joining Wasserman, Gabby oversaw the NYU Public Health Ambassador Program and first-gen initiatives at NYU’s Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. Gabby holds an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from NYU and a B.A. in Government from Hamilton College. She still happily calls NYC home, is always down for some French fries and takes coffee with her oxygen.
Marzena Ermler
Assistant Director, Graduate Career Development
Marzena is a career coach, learning and development professional, and librarian. At Wasserman, she empowers students to find meaningful career paths now and in the future by teaching them successful job search strategies and resilience. Marzena earned an MSLIS from Pratt Institute and a MA in German Literature and Language with a concentration in Methodology of Teaching from the University of Zielona Gora, Poland. She holds coaching, leadership development, and training management certificates. She is also the 2021 Mover and Shaker title recipient, a prestigious national library world award for outstanding services to the community.
Meagan Dugan
Senior Assistant Director, Graduate Career Development
Meagan’s role at Wasserman includes responsibility for coaching graduate students, planning career fairs and working on employer engagement for the Grad Team. Before joining Wasserman, Meagan was a student success coach for first-year STEM students as well as facilitating professional development programming for Student Affairs graduate students where she also participated in Safe Zone Training. Meagan has a B.S. in Psychology from UNC Charlotte and a M.Ed in Higher Education from University of West Georgia. Meagan grew up in Brooklyn and loves the Yankees. She loves to travel and has been to 9 countries & 31 states. She read 46 books last year, and has been interviewed on national TV twice, but never got to hear her father testify before the Senate.
Shelly Yin
Assistant Director, Graduate Career Development
Shelly advises graduate students through coaching appointments, workshops, and events, and supports employer engagement for the Grad Team. Previously, she was a Graduate Career Assistant at Wasserman while completing her MA in Media, Culture, and Communication at NYU Steinhardt. Shelly holds a BS in Communication and BA in Sociology from Boston University. She also had extensive experience guiding international students as a Counselor at an education consulting firm. In her free time, Shelly enjoys creating recipes, traveling for food, and spending time with her corgi, BoBo.
Yael Titelman
Assistant Director, Graduate Career Development
Yael supports students in their job search process by helping them identify their strengths, enabling thoughtful and fulfilling career decisions. Her background in psychology and counseling has motivated her to assist students in navigating their career development journeys. As a former international student at NYU, she is passionate about creating welcoming environments for all. Yael holds a professional degree in clinical psychology from Universidad Católica de Chile and an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from NYU. She enjoys dancing, traveling, and learning about people’s unique stories.
Andrea Sotomayor Proano
Assistant Director, Undergraduate Career Development
Andrea (she/her) spends her time at Wasserman coaching undergraduate students, and organizing/hosting events that support historically unrepresented students. Her previous work experience at Bloomfield of College of MSU and America Needs You have shaped her passion to help connect students with the proper resources/guidance as they are preparing to enter the professional world. Andrea has a B.A. in Psychology from Bloomfield College. In her free time, Andrea enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and trying out new restaurants with her toddler daughters and husband.

Kenya (she/her) advises current students and alumni in their professional development through coaching and programming, with a specific focus on DEI. She is a first-generation college graduate, and holds a BA in English from Rowan University and an MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs from NYU. Kenya’s personal experiences and previous work experiences in career development and financial literacy have contributed to her passion for providing underserved students with the resources and support needed for success. She enjoys reading and traveling. Participated in Belonging Zone and Justice Zone.
Amanda Leibenhaut
Manager, Alumni Career Programs
Amanda engages alumni to connect to career development resources, each other, and current students. Her experience in non-profit mental health, data management, and coaching has fueled her enthusiasm for supporting individuals in their career journeys and building sustainable community systems. She has a BA in Neuroscience and Behavior from Wesleyan University and an MS from Columbia School of Social work. Amanda enjoys yoga, dancing, drinking coffee with a good book in hand, and traveling.
Annette Tucker
Manager of Employer Relations and Special Events
Annette spearheads the management of Employer Relations and Special Events. She holds an MA in Elementary Education, a BA in Sociology, and an AA in Business Administration from New York University. Annette is most passionate about cultivating relationships with employers and increasing the pool of students that are hired by top Fortune 500 companies. For leisure, Annette loves spending time with her spiritual members, listening to music, and reading.
Casey Duffy
Manager, Domestic Study Away Career Development
Casey (she/her) spends her time between Wasserman and Global, providing direction and strategic planning for career development initiatives and programs, focused on opportunities in Tulsa, Oklahoma in partnership with the George Kaiser Family Foundation. Prior to NYU, Casey developed alumni, external partner, and community engagement relationships and projects at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF). Casey has a BS in Marine Science from the University of Tampa and MS in Higher Education from Syracuse University. Outside of the office, you can find Casey working towards her annual reading goal of 50 books or planning her next international trip.
Daniel Leeman Smith
Program Manager, Creative Careers
Daniel spends his time developing experiential learning programs that provide creatives with tangible experience to leverage as they enter the job market. He offers career coaching to emerging artists and works to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among artists and their peers. His previous work at the NYU Production Lab, in public education and in professional theatre has shaped his desire to help artists build sustainable careers. He holds a BFA and MA from Oklahoma City University and is an EdD candidate in Educational Theatre in Colleges and Communities at NYU Steinhardt.
Lisa Soderberg
Department Administrator, Recruitment
Lisa (she/her) spends her time at Wasserman as the Department Administrator, engaging with employers, and supporting the Wasserman team. She joins us from Educational Alliance, where she established an employment and career service program and previously at FEGS, providing employment services, and creating partnerships across industries and organizations. Lisa has extensive human resources and recruiting background, gained during her tenure as an Attorney Recruitment Manager at an international law firm. She has a BS from SUNY Oneonta and enjoys skiing, finding new ways to cook, and growing orchids.
Noa Watkins
Program Manager, Social Impact Careers
Noa (she/her) supports students by developing career programs for those interested in social impact fields, coaching undergraduate and graduate students on career exploration, and fostering partnerships with mission-driven organizations. Her previous experience with NYU’s Office of Global Services, Peace Corps South Africa, and various international education initiatives has fueled her passion for cross-cultural exchange and global engagement. She holds an MBA from NYU Stern, an MA in International Education from NYU Steinhardt, and a BA in Peace & Global Studies from Le Moyne College. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cultures, learning languages, and engaging in community-based initiatives.
Marion Viray
Manager, Global Career Development
Marion has held diverse positions across several NYC University institutions, where he advanced student success, community engagement, and inclusive programming. In the corporate sector, he led global initiatives in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion at Brown Brothers Harriman, Bloomberg LP and Moody’s Corporation. His work included managing business resource groups and driving strategies that fostered inclusive workplace cultures across international teams. Marion received his Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. He lives in NYC with his husband and two kids. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, a Broadway enthusiast and on the weekend, you can find him gardening at his local community garden.

Mellyssa has a strong background in DEI Consulting, donor relations, and program development, most recently serving as a Senior Consultant at Diversity North Group. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Simmons College and is passionate about fostering inclusive workplaces and building meaningful community partnerships.
Rachel Kraun
Recruitment Manager
Rachel (she/her) spends her time at Wasserman managing on-campus recruitment efforts, including developing employer relationships and implementing career-related events and programming. She received her BA from Sarah Lawrence College, and Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. Prior to her time with NYU, Rachel worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, where she planned and facilitated mentoring programming for young people to build new skills and set goals for the future. In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading, going to the beach, and exploring city parks.

Tammie spends her time coaching undergraduates and graduate students, and alumni in all aspects of creative career fields. Her previous work experience in professional theatre, community engagement, and education has helped shape her passion to assist students in navigating sustainable careers in creative fields.
